Brewed with four varieties of hops, it has robust juicy hop character and well-rounded bitterness. Delicious and quaffable, this delightful IPA is a crowd-pleaser. On tap. Pours a golden color with white head. Piney hop aroma. Medium body. Juicy citrus flavor with a piney hop finish. Kind of a mix of hazy and west coast styles

On tap at Fireside, served in a pint glass.

A: Clear straw/gold, minimal head & lace.

S: Muted; pine needle, piney hops, malty undertones.

T: Piney hops, hint of lemon/lemon peel, malt sweetness, faint caramel.

MF: Lighter mouthfeel, finishes dry and bitter.

O: Just an OK IPA.

Draft at BitterCreek. Golden, hazy, lovely frothy head . Citrusy, juicy aroma gets bitter quick. Big bite from the start, sharp, resinous hops. Like an IPA used to be.

this appears to be one of their more popular beers, i have seen it around quit a bit on tap. its a solid offering, kind of the best of both worlds, a little hazy in appearance and likely employing some grains other than barley, but also with some bitterness through it from the hops, not all dry hoppy and juicy, this may be a regression to the mean in terms of where the style is headed, and i am pretty alright with that. lightly orange tinted, frosted sort of cloudiness to it, thick creamy white head on top, lots of bubbles too. aroma of pine and juniper, green tea, lemongrass, and weed. its got a little bit of everything, and most of it translates to the taste too, with a unique savory sort of element in here thats newish to me, not sure the varietals, but its something different for sure in there. i like the piney finish, the moderately high bitterness thats here, not just at the end, and all the bubbles to keep it moving. it smells and tastes real fresh, and i like having an ipa straddling the style line as well as offering something unique in terms of flavor. a little bigger in feel than i could drink a ton of, but i was pretty stoked on this and it kept me interested until the last drop both times ive had it so far.
