Draft at brewery. Pale golden, .milky haze, fluffy head. Grainy aroma, wheat, wet paper. Taste adds some weizen flavors, banana, but overly grainy. Bready. But still some funkiness remains, similar to the Cheap Date.

a slightly hoppy belgian wit type here that really combines elements of belgian pale, wit, and even hefe in to the flavor profile, an obviously wheaty brew with a summery flavor profile that really does drink nice and easy. cool to see a different yeast happening here, i think they used this one well, and the recipe is perfect for their patio this time of year. foggy looking but with a light pale orange color, soft and creamy looking, and a thick white head with strong retention and pretty lacing. the aroma has a rawness to it in the grain profile, wheat for sure, but some amount perhaps of unmalted white wheat too, a lightly toasted coriander element, and some citrus and white wine esters from the yeast, understated in a good way, and with some floral and orangey hops there as well. the flavor is all of this, with the citrus element popping a little more and some of the phenols of the yeast coming out. i get some white pepper in here, a herbal element almost like a tarragon or something, maybe hops, coriander, and yeast all combining to deliver that, and then a little bitter pop to finish, which i like in the style and think is a cool touch to this. its very flavorful overall, but dry for all the body it has and really well carbonated, quenching if not refreshing when ice cold, warms up a little more pungent on the yeast esters, but overall a tasty brew from these guys, who are rising above many of their peers in terms of quality in my opinion...
