Draft at brewery. Pale golden, lively carbonation keeps a huge fluffy head going. Aroma is light grapefruit, citrus. Taste is seert, fruity and dry, almost like a brĂ¼t IPA. Very light on the palate. Refreshing.

another solid session ipa from these guys, this one done with grapefruit. there is just enough bitterness from it to make this refreshing at the end, but its not pithy, intense, or acidic as it can sometimes be. it also compliments rather than takes over the hops. the beer is pale and unfiltered looking without being sloppy, with a nice tall white head from the tap and a neat hop aroma that has more citrus to it than just the added grapefruit. things like key lime and tangerine pop out for me, but i also get tropical notes of sweet ripe mango and even kiwi, a nice mix of hops in here, whatever they use. the key to this, and the style of session ipa for me generally speaking, is some body and lots of carbonation, but also being super dry, like, i dont want my beer to be watery and thin just because its low alcohol, and i want the carbonation to really blast off and aid a fast finish and make it refreshing, and thats exactly what we have here. these guys have been getting the texture part right a lot lately, and i commend them for it. a fresh summer drinker here with a clean fermentation profile and lots of life. the beer here seems to be improving at a pretty steady rate, and i was stoked on my most recent visit!
