Draft at Eureka! Medium golden, light haze, one finger fluffy head. Light aroma. Taste picks up with a light hop bite, grainy, bready malts. Quite a nice bite for such a low ABV.

they call this new one a table smash beer, assuming table refers to the session type abv in this, and that the smash would indicate single malt and single hop. if thats how this is done, im downright impressed. its among the best hoppy beers i have had to date from these guys, and really is flavorful, fresh, and unique, i have to know what hop this is, it seems like the beer has to be fruited, peaches and mango notes for sure, but if this is all from a hop, wow! a little hazy and very frothy from the tap, not too pale with just a hint of a crystal malt color, but lively and pretty. aroma is pungently fruity, fresh orange juice, mango, and stone fruit, maybe a little ripe melon too. i cant even guess at the hop, el dorado maybe, its almost candied and kind of cryo-esque in intensity, very unique to my palate, again i think there has to be fruit in here. i like that it finishes less sweet than it starts, and has some actual hop bitterness happening in it. some lemongrass, pine oil, and even gummy bear notes to finish, but this isnt overdone, bitey, or raw at all, its well refined and very unique. hard to believe its as light as it is too, really drinks quite hearty and satisfying, not like a session normally does, i dont feel like im sacrificing anything here. a high point so far for these guys, really good, they should keep making this one. id love some details on the recipe and the hops too! is this done with wet hops?!
