im pretty sure this name is not unique in beer, but hopefully these guys are small and local enough that it wont be an issue for them. this is a cool beer, maybe the best of their sours i have had, this a kettle sour with raspberry and lime, super clean on the souring, purely lactic, tidy, piquant, and lemony, radiant almost electric pink in the glass, not too sour to drink a pint or more of, and natural on the fruit, way more raspberry than lime, to the extent that i might not have picked out the lime if it wasnt called out on the menu. i dont smell or taste much malt to this, and its a little thin in texture, but there is enough flavor that this doesnt seem to me to be missing anything, the tartness of the raspberries and the lime acidity work great with the lactic profile here, and this seems tropical without being a gimmick. a nice sour for high summer, more refined than these have been here until now, and gorgeous in the glass. in addition to the great beers, these guys are doing a nice job staying open and keeping things safe during virus times, they have it figured out, thanks for the attention to detail and for taking our health seriously! love this place!
