16oz can, hazy gold with no opacity and an off-yellow head; big hoppy nose full of lime and grapefruit citrus, touch of tartness but pretty fruity and juicy overall; soft, pillowy body with moderate pithy bitterness and a citrus juice profile.

i feel like this series of hazy beers is improving round to round, this latest one drinks a little lighter than some of the others, and the hops seem modern, well scheduled, and overall this is of a higher quality than i recall, very nice. a yellow radiance to this, frothy inch of white head from the tap with great retention and pretty lacing, and a nose of very fresh hops, possibly southern hemisphere. i get key limes, lemongrass, white grapes, almost ripe pears, and honeydew melon, its lush and juicy with a high tone citrus element, nice on top of simple grain, lighter than many others in this series to me, not so dense. the flavor is similar, very low bitterness for one, and the clean ferment seems like an upgrade too, this is really tidy and dialed in. the hops just pop, pineapple candy, lime zest, fresh summery herbs, and juicy lemon, really flavorful and up front, big dry hop qualities to it, very fast in the finish and dry, not oily or palate coating either, kind of delicate in texture on the hop side for how robust the flavor is. this is cool for the incoming nicer weather, the lower abv and the quick finish make it more drinkable than most hazy types, and i can see this doing well for the summer if they keep it around. a nice step forward for these guys in their hoppy beer, and a great companion to the delicious pizza they offer in here now!

Draft at Lost Grove. Hazy goldenrod color, thick, creamy head rises above the rim. Light citrusy aroma. Taste is light grapefruit with pillowy, bready malts. Easy drinker.
