16oz can from HomeBrewStuff. Cloudy golden pour, fizzy white head. Light coffee on the nose. Taste is coffee, mild malty sweetness. Creamy body with a nice velvety feel. Some coffee bitterness lingers.

good to see some innovation here, a collaboration with aslan which is cool. this is a little bigger than expected for a basic cream ale, more color, body, and sweetness to it than i thought it would have, but its nice and fresh and it supports the coffee well, i dont mind the little extra malt it brings to the table. not blonde, more golden, honey toned, rather clear, short head maybe a little undercharged. the nose is great, the best part of this, quality coffee evident, husky and not overly roasted which i super dig in my coffee beer, but the malt is a lot to me even though this is pale, and that crisp cream ale drinkability is not really here, a shame because the flavors are kind of addicting. light brown sugar meets dry cocoa powder from the java, a hint of smoke and vanilla bean too, and a drawn out finish that really extends this, maybe better in the fall than in high summer, and not as good a food beer as i hoped it would be (rad new menu at their newly opened north end location), but overall a cool expression of quality coffee in a light enough brew. i could drink way more of this if it were dried out a little and better carbonated, but a fine effort overall.

A collaboration with Aslan Brewing, this 16oz can pours a out a clear, golden liquid with a creamy white head. Nice bready, honey-like sweetness on the nose combines with a fine cold brew coffee aroma. The palate leads with that creamy coffee flavor that leads into some nice combinations of bready caramel and earthy honey. Impressions of toffee and vanilla as well as some faint spice, but this one is mostly creamy, smooth, and leaning a bit sweet. Good stuff.
