16oz can at Hops & Bottles. Hazy straw colored pour, lasting creamy white head. Fruity aroma, tropical and then citrus. Taste brings some ripe fruit flavors, citrus peel, stone fruit, mango. A bit chalky

this series has had some of their best beers, and it keeps delivering, really nice beer here from a hop standpoint, ive heard of some changes in terms of people in the brew house in recent months, but this one doesnt miss a beat, one of their best hoppy beers to date i reckon, not as heavy to drink as some of these have been, and bursting with juicy new school hop character, very well done overall and a fine companion to the fantastic pizza they make in here now. not the most attractive brew in the glass, thick and starchy, dull and dense, kind of milky looking, straw colored and short headed after a second. the nose on this is pineapple forward suggesting mosaic, but i get orange and tangerine too, light lemon and lemongrass, orange candy, and some sweetness running through it on top of a cereal type grain base that adds a lot. the flavor is hops all the way, the grain is there with the hops all the way, never quite toasted but not raw either, off dry, less fluffy and more just thick. good thing the hops lighten it up a lot, juicy citrus up front, herbal and kind of sweet in the middle, and with some bitterness for a hazy one on the back end which i like. really nice layers of flavor too, passion fruit and guava, coconut and lime, the whole thing could be cleaned up and lightened a bit, but there is no green burn here, the ferment is tidy, and the hop profile and freshness pop off. nice to see these guys evolving still...

16oz can pours a near-perfect golden orange with a large white head with little substance and lots of big bubbles. Ripe and tropical hop notes abound, juicy and fruit and floral, pulpy orange, papaya, and mango. Goes down easy; well done LG.
