the latest in this series, a very mild beer overall, almost more pale than ipa to me in terms of hop intensity, fruit forward, not crazy hazy either, a little lighter looking and feeling than some of these have been, which i dont mind at all, especially for the warmer weather. golden and just frosted looking, not much head after a minute, a little light on bubbles on the whole, less starch and haze and body than is common in the style. it smells a little bit sweet at first, then the fruity hops come, to me melon and navel orange, maybe a little tropical thing, mango perhaps, mellow but appealing, no apparent bitterness at all, subtle estery yeast thing seems out of place, but its mild. the flavor leads with the best part of these hops, whatever they are in this, maybe some peach, fresh orange juice, sweetness running through it the whole way but not in a limiting way, a bit weird in the finish, ferment slightly odd to me, but the hops are nice. i think it could be ramped up a bit, like i like what i taste but there isnt quite enough of it, and it doesnt quite hit like session beer either, more hops would be welcome. lighter medium body, sweetness beefs it up a little, no bitterness, a bit of a canned mandarin orange thing as it warms. pretty tasty, mild as the style goes, not technically masterful, but good to have a couple of new ones on their board this time.
