Second one from this brewery...giddy with anticipation...
Poured into a tulip from July 26th batch. Like Through the Looking Glass this one pours pineapple thick opaque and glorious and lovely excellent effervescence. A good collar lasted well here. Nose is more subdued them through the glass with Subtle citrus fruits and a hint of pine. Decent grasses as well. Taste is very nice with sweet fruit on the initial taste with very little bitter finish. This is a dry one surprisingly. a really solid double IPA!

This is my second try from Badlands, and I am looking forward in trying pretty well everything from these guys.
Very delicate lacing following the pour. The nose seems to indicate lemon grass, but the brewer did not mention this when I spoke to him, so I am going to forget about my intuition. But it does smell very earthy - almost dirty.
This is a very dry beer, probably the driest I had. The only fruit I can (maybe) recognize here is peach and apricot, or perhaps only their seeds. Perhaps neither. But realistically, what you find here is mostly hops. A nice beer, but I prefer their Inglewood.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
