The amygdala: your number one friend for processing and retrieving all of the various emotions your brain desires, or maybe doesn’t. Either way, the amygdala has you covered for any and all emotional reactions you may or may not need! It is the little almond shaped piece of your brain that regulates your emotional responses, and for our label we decided to animate a fun little devil on your shoulder/in your amygdala. His name is Larry.
For this years rendition of Provocative we also dropped Amarillo, and subbed in Simcoe. The beer is much better for it. Hopped with Galaxy, Citra and Simcoe hops we taste a peachy, passionfruit, and grapefruit forward beer with some tropical fruit and citrus character. It is one of our favorite combination of hops and a beer we long for regularly.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones and some peachy/tropical hops notes and with a semi-sweet finale. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones notes, some tropical hops notes and a semi-sweet finale. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA with nice tropical focus floral hops notes with creamy notes.

I find the name of this beer strange, because this is probably Badlands' least descript offering. From the nose to the body, this is just a nice, drinkable Badlands IPA, but it has no stand out features anywhere. I am unsure as to what part of it supposed to be Provocative. Suffice to say, non are. Hazy, white-ish pour with little lacing, this brew will not be remembered. Still good though.

Poured from a Aug 8th batch as this crew continues to deliver about as fresh as you can find. Poured into a two tulip this one offers pineapple opaque with excellent collar and effervescence. Nose is solidly fruity and fine balance of hops. Taste is orange citrus very smooth and well balanced. Minimal aftertaste will allow newbies to IPAs an entry point. Not quite as complex as Through the Glass but this is good all the same.
