Ever seen the movie Finding Nemo? What a great damn flick. Family friendly, hilarious, endlessly quotable, even suspenseful at times. That movie was a damn classic and everyone knows it. Let’s be honest, you read the beer title and immediately were like “hey, that fish movie!?” Well the beer is actually named after the hops in it, but we’re just gonna steer right into that natural, unavoidable fish connection with this label.
NeMo was born out of our dual hop program, where we mash up any/every hop we can in pairs to discover/uncover hops that are well suited to elevating each other's finest characteristics.
Dry hopped with (Ne)lson Sauvin from our friends at Freestyle Hops and our hand selected (Mo)saic, this years version of NeMo is exceptionally expressive. Huge berry notes on the nose, dank gooseberry, tangerine, and tropical soaked citrus. An early contender for our favorite of the year… so far.

It's really beginning to look like I am now mainly satisfied by beer (at least of the IPA variety), when it's from Badlands Brewing. I am telling everyone who cares to listen, they are amazing. And Caledon is the mini Vemont of Ontario.
Once again, a delicious, perfume nose (apricot seeds, mango, grapefruit) gives way to a rather messy head, which eventually dissipates.
A wonderfully balanced beer. Piney bitterness offset by sweet, citrusy goodness. Never a hint of malt. A tad too much carbonation with medium dryness. Beautiful.
