Badlands' monthly DIPA in September helps usher in the fall season.
While citrusy tones are still lively in the nose, there is also a hint of earthiness. And the taste truly underlines the end of summer. There is only a slight citrus hop attack, only to have it smoothed out completely buy a gentle creaminess. It is a surprise yes, but in context of the time of year, it makes sense. Whether by accident or on purpose, Badlands partook in the change of seasons with their latest DIPA.
