Another IPA making its Badlands appearance, this one is a DIPA. And truth be told, not one of their greatest.
To start with, it looks beautiful. Gentle lacing retention, with the usual pale murkiness. But the nose already hints of possible disappointments. Yes, citrus is there but also dish-washing liquid. The taste is somewhat bizarre. Quite sweet, but not in a citrusy way, this one is seriously lacking character and balance. Still drinkable and decent, it lags behind the many amazing IPAs these guys are churning out. I'd say skip this one, but as they produce small batches, it's already gone.
