Here is another one of the seemingly endless number of IPAs from Caledon's Badlands Brewing.
Part of their Pedestal series, the Azacca pours with a larger head than usual for this brewery. The nose is very muted, indicating an IPA with an equally muted body. And it is indeed. Earthy tones rule over gentle fruit and it's one of Badlands' few brews with a taste of malt, although not enough to ruin the beer.
This won't knock you off your feet, but it is a nice, reliable IPA.
