Complicated Airflow is an IPA hopped with Galaxy, Vic Secret and Simcoe.
We taste notes of peach, pineapple, orange citrus, grapefruit, and candied hops.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a medium white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones and some tropical notes, some spicy notes with a semi-dry finale. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones notes, some tropical notes, some spicy notes and a semi-dry finale. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA with nice tropical notes but some spicy notes are more or less interesting.

473ml can. Thanks Sal for the gift. Canning date of August 17, 2022. 2022 rendition has Galaxy, Vic Secret and Amarillo rather than Simcoe
Appearance - candied pineapple in color with tons of haze. Nice two fingers of fluffy white head and lots of cobweb style lacing.
Smell - Pineapple and peach with some orange mixed in for good measure.
Taste - Peach with hints of pineapple then a big dank grapefruit with some weedy greens comes in to finish it off. Semi-sweet to start then bitter hop oils at the end. Love this flavor combo.
Mouthfeel - Pretty juicy, some carbonation and semi-dry in the aftertaste, but plenty of juiciness in between. Easy drinking.
Overall - This hits with the flavor and feel profiles I really enjoy, plus a fresh brew. Badlands hits it out of the park with this one.

On tap at the source. Solid ipa. At prime. Decent mouthfeel. Good taste, a bit crushable.

L: Hazy and murky pale yellow just as you would expect.
S: A bountiful citrus harvest greets the nose that simply invites the first big sip.
T: Not as citrus tasting an IPA you might expect from Badlands. A bit tart and and a dry finish.
M: I find this beer a little thin and drying to the palate.
O: It's a good IPA but you can't help yearning for that spectacular beer you know Badlands is capable of. And that sadly takes away from some of the enjoyment to be had here.
Update: Had this on tap at The Brain in Hamilton, ON. Gotta say the 'makeover' with Nectaron really hit the spot. Totally upped the game on this bad boy. Quite liked it.

This one pours something beautiful, with the perfect hazy yellow colour and a slight head retention.
The nose is of fruity-hop, but there is also a bit of uncomfortable dishwashing water scent.
The body is not well developed and is rather narrow on the palate. Quite tart, it seems as though it didn't yet develop. Not terrible but these guys can do much better.
