The second brew on our new system. Still learning lots every day, but we feel each successive brew has us moving in the right direction. Less dry than Batch 1, a bit more body, slightly less bitterness. Dry hopped with Riwaka, Mosaic, and Simcoe: we taste berry, tangerine, dank mango.

I've had a few from Badlands before, but don't think I have reviewed them. I will be getting a couple a week going forward from this fabulous small Ontario brewery. In addition to the fruity flavours, I taste grassy notes that remind me of Heady Topper perhaps more than any other non-Alchemist beer I've tried - maybe from the Simcoe? It's not Heady, & is certainly fruitier, but it's a nice beer. I've had a couple right out of the can & the nostalgia was there even more!
