The monthly DIPA series is our neutral, hop ready canvas to play around with all thing's DIPA. The goal for the series is to not only bring you at least one DIPA per month, but also to allow us to push our base DIPA recipe in any number of directions with the goal of ultimately tweaking, refining and improving every DIPA in our lineup.
October DIPA is the first monthly DIPA in the series to come off the new brewery. As such, we decided to hit it with a celebratory blend of some of our favorites. Dry hopped with Galaxy, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin, we taste prominent gooseberry, passion fruit, peach and citric dankness.

I'm not generally a fan of Nelson Sauvin hops & can taste it in here, but it is well hidden & the peach and citric dankness are well described & delicious.

I haven't head a Badlands monthly DIPA since September of last years. It was just the way the cookie crumbled. But it was worth the wait.
This one is actually close to Tree Crawler, but the malt balances things out better. Nice, earthy tones, with less citrusy dominance. Well made. Of course.
