We got together with our friends at Small Batch Dispatch to make a beer! What we came up with was an idea for a fruited IPA that exists on the subtler side of the fruit beer spectrum. IPA already throws tons of fruited notes, so we just wanted to use a fruit (in this case Apricot) to enhance the fruit notes that are already present by using about half the rate you would expect from your typical dry hopped fruited kettle sour thing... don't worry, there is still several hundred pounds of Apricot puree in there and we still hopped it to our usual 7lbs/bbl. We taste notes of jammy apricot, tangerine, peach and hints of tropical pineapple.
