Marma is one of the older recipes we have in our arsenal. It was originally brewed in 2017 as one of our earliest IPA releases and quickly won us over and left a lasting imprint on our beery little hearts with its big orangey flavor.
Its name is derived from orange marmalade, which we think does a great job of describing its flavour profile. We hope you love this beer as much as we continue to. Over time we’ve had to adapt the recipe to keep it citric and orange forward. Hops change with time, and if we want our beers to reflect certain flavour profiles then we too must change with them. This year is no exception.
Hopped with Citra, and given a modified dry hop process, we think Marma is arguably tasting better than ever! We taste big notes of orange, tangerine, lychee and tropical fruit.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with some dank tangerine notes and a semi-sweet finale. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with some dank tangerine notes and a semi-sweet finish. Body is full for style with a creamy feel with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA with dank tangerine notes and good drinkability.

Pours very light orange with a nose combo you'd want from your non West-coast IPA: citrus, honey, seeds, hops with earthy tones. The taste is all of that combined, though it has an oily feel and it is too sharply carbonated.
So some of this is good, some not as much. Worth at least a try, but not often.
