The monthly DIPA series is our neutral, hop ready canvas to play around with all thing's DIPA. The goal for the series is not only bring you at least one DIPA per month, but also to allow us to push our base DIPA recipe in any number of directions with the goal of ultimately tweaking, refining and improving every DIPA in our lineup.

January DIPA (2021) is a bit paler than our usual DIPA thanks to the use of a paler malt, much more pale yellow, than our bordering on orange. It was dry hopped with Citra, Simcoe and Hallertau blanc. We taste notes of citrus, mango, pineapple and some hints of grape and lemon.

Also the label says January DIPA (2020), because I'm an idiot and that's just how our days goin'. You should be able to tell 2020 from 2021 because 2020 was in a bottle, and 2021 is in a can.

The poor gang accidentally mislabeled this as January, 2020. Obviously it should be 2021.
But we love them and forgive them for such a small mishap.
This pours a lively yellow with a tiny ring retention. The nose is of hops, with a bit of citrus. Very silky feel in the taste, but the body is slightly thin. Strong boozy aftertaste.
A good DIPA, but they made better ones.
