This beer marked the official end of all the owners of the brewery working other jobs. That’s right, after nearly 5 years since we started the business and 4 years from our first brew day, we were finally able to start paying ourselves some amount of money in 2021 to make beer… and live.
And yes, we know what you’re thinking “are they actually… just broke?” And the answer is, of course, a resounding “lol, we wish!” We have all kinds of fun debt to service and technically speaking the bank owns literally every asset we’ve ever owned and will ever own if we stop paying them, but “deeply in debt and free” doesn’t sound nearly as sexy as “broke and free” does it?
Dry hopped with each of our favorite hops: Citra (Grace), Galaxy (Troy), Sabro (Mike).

2023 edition most complex with long sabro finish. 2023 on tap at the source.drinkable and refreshes. 2021 also very smooth and more pronounced galaxy, can at a share.

473 ml can served cold into a tulip. Beer 11/12 from the Durand Haul. Canned June 1, 2022.
Appearance - A theme lately, hazy yellowy gold color with honey brown highlights. Turbid in appearance and capped with two fingers of loose white head. Plenty of lacing and head has good staying power.
Smell - Dank with some weedy aromas and a slight gym shorts smell, but supported by strong wheaty backbone and some citrus in the form of grapefruit and lemon.
Taste - Some sharp weediness, a hint of wheat followed by fairly intense bitterness. Hints of citrus here and there, but mostly limited to grapefruit and lemon.
Mouthfeel - Very smooth, medium-full body with soft carbonation. Dry finish.
Overall - Another very good IPA, this one seems to go full in on dank and wish there was a little more citrus to brighten things up. That said, this is quite well executed and eminently flavorful.

The boys and girls of Badlands are all grown up and brewing for themselves now. A glorious day. This one pours lemon opaque with good collar and lace. Nose is Curtis pine with slight sour undertone. Taste is front forward pineapple and peach with coconut undertones. Quite nice
