Ruby is our little Aussie Shepherd and the youngest dog resident at Badlands. When she’s not occupied with barking at the cows or playing keep away with a stick, you may see her from time to time out front of the bottle shop (and maybe one day, eventually, the beer garden) during pickup hours. She’s insane and we love her so.
Dry hopped with Talus, Idaho 7 and Mosaic, we taste big notes of both ruby red and pink grapefruit, sweet berries, tangerine and some mixed citrus undertones. This years batch of Ruby is tasting explosively fruity. We hope you like it as much as we like our sweet little hound!

Trying the 2025 version here.
The nose is strong citrus with faint wood.
The taste is interesting, but mostly for the wrong reasons. Tart, with odd citrus flavors, it is drinkable but doesn't quite work.

This one pours pineapple opaque as usual but offers a drier and more woody IPA than a typical Badlands. Grapefruit forward with cirtus finish. Lovely.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
