A single decoction mashed pilsner made with all Ontario ingredients from some of our favourite grower/producer/processors in the province. Pilsner malt from Barn Owl Malt. Willamette hops from VQH farms. Water from our well.
Lagered for just over 5 weeks, it is simple, yet densely layered and eminently drinkable, we taste notes of doughy biscuit malt, fruity and floral hop aromatics, Ontario, a gentle but firm bitterness, and a soft mouthfeel without sacrificing any crisp drinkability.

Can from sidewalk beer shop - My sample was labeled as being 5.8 abv...poured a cloudy pale gold with a 2 finger white cap...aromas of boiled grains, soft wet hay scents and pear cider tones...has a rounded soft palate and mellow character, good balance....rich malts in front with a cidery herbal-sour balance very light sweetness which.goes dryer in the clean finish...light cidery acidity in the finish also...a very quenching but satisfying lager, great to pair with BBQ or a pannini sammie....much like a Hacker Pschorr helles but with more flavor
