The second beer in our "Spotlight Caledon" series, where we highlight the varied attractions, natural beauties, and landmarks in and around the Caledon/Headwaters area.

Terra Cotta is a small village within the town of Caledon. Located along the water, it's a particularly scenic area to take a stroll through. You can also check out the Terra Cotta Conservation area, where you can take in some of the beauty of Caledon. (Terra Cotta is also a term used for clay-based ceramic, which given the soil composition in the area, I don't think is any coincidence).

Hopped with a blend of Citra, Galaxy, and Motueka, this beer is loaded with notes of melon, limey citrus, pineapple and white grape.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with some tropical notes and a semi-dry finale. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with citrusy tropical notes and a semi-dry finish. Body is full for style with a creamy feel with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA with big juicy hops.

Always fun: trying another Badlands IPA!
Pours pale yellow, with a slowly dissipating head. The nose is of muted hops and mango with earth tones.
Quite bitter, with hoppy notes. Hardly any body here and lots of carbonation. The feel is soft.
I think this one is a misfire by my favourite brewery. Not sure how this went wrong, but it sure did. This is the worst IPA I tasted from them and I tasted many. The only thing worse they ever made was their saison.
It's okay, these things happen.
