This past fall we had the great pleasure of being able to travel to Yakima and select hops. Hops are, to put it mildly, extremely important to the production of hoppy beer, and it’s no secret we produce quite a lot of hoppy beer, making hops all the more important to us and our brewery.
This year we selected for the varietal Mosaic. This year our selection of Mosaic went super quickly. The quality of what was on the table was exceptional top to bottom. We always search for blueberry notes when selecting for Mosaic, hoping it makes it’s way into the finished product and this was the most fruity blueb-ey one we could select for!
We’re thrilled to be able to share our selection of Mosaic with you.

The third #Select from Badlands in 2023, this one is Mosaic.
A pale pour again, with a soapy looking head. Nice, citrusy nose, with notes of wood and apricot seed. Yummy! The taste is nice, mostly lemony, though overall somewhat muted. Also, the end note has an odd bitterness. Plus there is a bit much carbonation.
Seems like this is not my favourite #Select. I think it's a bit of a miss, though still drinkable.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
