In the face of a giant, brilliantly luminescent rainbow doorway that crackles, rolls and disintegrates at its margins, you’re faced with an impossibly conclusive decision: enter into the glow or return to the dark from whence you came.
Dry hopped with a blend of Citra, Talus and Nectaron, this beer is assertively tangerine, papaya and pink grapefruit with notable undercurrents of dank geraniums enthusiastically high fiving a pineapple.

Sugary sweet and still quite drinkable. hops there. Enjoyable but I would like it more hop forward and do not care so much for the sweet bombing. Can.

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. Durand purchase. I think this was canned April 26, 2023.
Appearance - Super hazy, milky straw colored beer with multiple fingers of sparkling white head. Very good retention.
Smell - Some dank weediness but also loaded with some citrus aromas. Big nose. Nectaron hops and Citra hops pulling their weight here.
Taste - Weedy with hop oils, but also a little mango, nectarine and some orange mixed in. Nice complimentary combination.
Mouthfeel - Low carbonation, medium body and easy to crush. Highly drinkable, just some hop oil residue at the end makes this slightly less easy to crush. Booze is very well hidden.
Overall - Excellent DIPA with enough bitterness, great flavor combinations and also being quite easy to drink. Well worth the purchase.

There have been a few misses lately from the youngsters at Badlands, but this one isn't one of those.
Beautiful orange-yellow pour (a nod to orange juice), with the nose of that lovely apricot seed and pure hop scent that made me get to know this brewery years ago. Velvety soft feel (surprised there is no lactose here), with wood, tangerine and apricot notes. Strong, boozy aftertaste with a bit of a hop burn.
A nice beer.
