2023 rendition. Served pretty fresh. Durand purchase. Review from notes. 473 ml can served cold into a pint glass.
Appearance - Super duper hazy yellowy gold brew, not that from from orange juice. A finger or so of white head on top sticks around for a little bit and some sparse streaks of lacing linger.
Smell - A little bit piney and a little bit fruity. Citrus pine combo is pleasant. A bit muted.
Taste - Same combo from the Simcoe hops. Some pine, a little bit of orange and a very woodsy sort of aroma. Fresh.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied, smooth and juicy with a certain creaminess. Very easy to drink and very enjoyable.
Overall - A very well rounded and tasty IPA. Well worth the purchase if you can find it.

Something new from the marvelous Badlands, with a milky yellow pour and the usual medium head that dissipates into a collar and lacing. The nose is quite muted, with some honey and maybe citrus.
Lovely flavours of citrus (clementine), pineapple and perhaps wood lingering in the background. Boozy aftertaste. It's ever so slightly too tart, but very good overall.

a new line from one of my favorite breweries. This one offers pineapple pour with a ton of collar. Balanced woodsy nose with white wine grapefruit forward based on all Simcoe base. As the can says simple and direct hop forward with fine finish.
