Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy floral undertones notes with some juicy hops notes. Taste is a mix of juicy hops notes with some hoppy floral hops undertones with some citrusy notes, with light tropical flavors and light residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Well brewed NEIPA with nice floral hoppy notes.

Interesting enough to drink. though creamy oats bill dominates any significant hop taste. Can from the source. Coconut in finish suggests strata.lasting creamy head.

Beer 7/12 from the Durand Haul. Canned June 8, 2022. Citra Cashmere and El Dorado Hops
Appearance - Super turbid and peach and orange juice mixture in terms of coloring. Three expressive fingers of frothy stark white head. Awesome head retention.
Smell - Lots of tropical notes, grapefruit and orange with elements of mango.
Taste - Initially really strong grainy backbone, then little blips of grapefruit and orange with a sweet stone fruit element underneath. Fruit is pleasant and appropriate in the aftertaste, but seems a bit light up front.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, leaning full, carbonation seems a bit flat and while juicy, it's not as much as some. Still pretty crushable.
Overall - I've heard many good things about this brewery and while the first brew from Badlands wasn't quite what I expected, it tasted very fresh and was pretty good and balanced and I'm eager to try more of their offerings.
