A beer to commemorate the opening of our first indoor (ish) space, the greenhouse! Is a greenhouse truly an indoor space? Who knows, who cares. It’s a lot warmer than our previous “indoor space” (i.e. a church bus), and it is certainly quite a bit more spacious. It’s also extremely well lit due to the fact it is effectively one giant window. Natural light FTW!
Hopped with Citra and El Dorado, we taste stone fruit and mixed citrus.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones and some 5-alive hops notes and with a semi-dry finale. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones notes, some 5-alive hops notes and a semi-dry finale. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA with nice juicy floral hops notes.

This one pours quite pale but with a nice head. The nose is hard to pinpoint. Kind of plastic and powder. As I said, confusing. Not bad, just not great.
The taste is citrus(y) but you won't taste it long because it's so darn dry that your throat becomes like an anus that is trying to protect its entrance - it locks up.
What the heck happened here? Was some sort of powder used?
Whatever it is, this is a drain pour, sadly. Probably only the second Badlands brews to have this fate.

Quaffable but a bit not up to par, dry powder like hazy cloud of bitterness, with a malt backing. My throat gets drier per swallow.
