Dora is our exploratory series of beers where we mess around with anything/everything from ingredients to process.
For this version of Dora, we got our hands on a brand new, flowable hop product. It is a variety specific liquid (Citra in this case) and we used it to replace 1/3 of the dry hop (the rest of the dry hop is regular T-90 Citra).
It turned out pretty awesome! We taste a citrus medley with some lychee and papaya. A super cool experiment we are very into! Let us know what you think of it!

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. Purchased from Durand.
Appearance - Super hazy and turbid pale straw yellow brew. Two plus fingers of long lived fluffy white and a great couple rings of lacing.
Smell - Big tropical notes, I get passionfruit, guava and orange with a smattering of grapefruit.
Taste - Fairly sweet, guava and orange with less passionfruit and a touch of grapefruit. Heavy wheat malt backbone after the citrus wears off.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, lighter than most IPA's and has creamy texture. Carbonation is less than normal, but works well with this beer.
Overall - Another successful Dora iteration, #55 isn't quite as good as #52 (among recent ones I've tried) but still stands out as a very well crafted IPA.

This Dora seemed to be an original recipe, when Badlands was initiating their brewery. Hazy and good drinking. You never know what Dora will be from one to one hundred.
