A delicious english porter. Robustly constructed to provide ample body and silky chocolate, toffee and coffee notes, while also being delightfully sessionable.
The imagery evokes where the style originally got its name, from porters (i.e. carriers) who popularized the style back in 18th century England.

The base porter, and it's surprisingly good. Good bitterness, and well roasted and balanced. Very drinkable and appreciate the sessional abv. Tasting fresh even after a few months.

Can: Poured a black color porter with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with some chocolate notes and a light semi-dry finish. Taste is also a good mix of roasted malt with some chocolate notes and a semi-dry finish. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Easy drinking porter. Not bad but a bit too hot.
