Pedestal is our line of single hop beer. We single out one particularly delicious hop and put it up high on a hazy pedestal for your taste buds to enjoy in all its isolated, lupulin filled glory. We use our house yeast, the same malt/water profile and change only one thing: the hop.
This version of pedestal features Cascade grown in New Zealand from Freestyle Hops.
Right off the top we MUST EMPHASIZE to everyone that you check your bias about what “Cascade” tastes like at the proverbial door. This may have the same name and genetic lineage as the hop you’ve come to know as Cascade, but hot damn is this a completely different flavor profile (we mean that in an exceptionally delicious way.)
We taste prominent grape notes backed by rich red berry and white grapefruit. We are seriously jazzed about this beer. A true testament to New Zealand’s uniquely amazing growing terroir, and of course how awesome Freestyles hops are!

A Very smooth drinker, yielding citrus orange. Fresh draft at Brewer's Pantry.Almost like a milkshake, holding off any actual dairy products. Liked it.
