Pedestal is our line of single hop beer. We single out one particularly delicious hop and put it up high on a hazy pedestal for your taste buds to enjoy in all its isolated, lupulin filled glory. We use our house yeast, the same malt/water profile and change only one thing: the hop.
This version of pedestal features the hop Rakau from Freestyle hops. It features flavors of danky apricot and red plum. Super unique and delicious.

Durand purchase. Canned March 1, 2023. Served cold into a chalice.
Appearance - Very hazy yellowy white brew with two big loose fingers of frothy white foam.
Smell - Light citrus and stone fruit aroma, some dankness. Maybe peach in there too. Nose is pretty muted.
Taste - Pretty juicy, semi sweet. Apricot and plum show more here. Light bit of earthy bitterness, but less bitter than most.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, low carbonation, quite juicy finish. Booziness in check and definitely a creaminess to the body as well.
Overall - Certainly a good IPA, this one lacks some of the pop and standoutness of other Badlands IPA's. Still quite good, but lower half among Badlands IPA's for me.
