An IPA with pineapple brewed for International Women’s Day 2023.
Designed and brewed by Grace Wilkinson, the matriarch of Badlands.
It was hopped with Yakima’s 6th Annual Pink Boots blend, which consists of Loral®, Ekuanot® and HBC 586. $3 of every pound sold is to be donated to the Pink Boots Society Scholarship Fund.

Women's Day special brewed by Grace at Badlands (yay, Grace!).
I hope it's not too tart.
This pours milky yellow, with a delicious pineapple nose. The pineapple hits you with the first sip quite nicely. The tail end though ends with some unwelcome bitterness. I would have cut back on the hops and amped up the malt (I don't usually say that, but here it would work better).
In the end it's a refreshing beer that has its strength at the front end.

Review from notes. 473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. Durand purchase.
Appearance - Yellowy chalky colored beer witha finger plus of white head. Decent staying power.
Smell - Overwhelmingly pineapple and not much else other than a whaty malt buried deep in the depths. The highlight of this brew.
Taste - Pineapple juice sort of. The pineapple is certainly there, but less pronounced and seems a bit thinner in the layers you'd expect. Wheat backbone, helps the taste fade quicker too. Lacking in bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied a bit stickier and such but without the accompanying flavor,
Overall - Not bad, just expecting so much more, especially with the intense pineapple nose.

Here is a Badlands that dropped out of the annual rotation. A train wreck of pineapple and funk mostly yes hops and malt. Totally out of step. Draft at the source.
