The monthly DIPA series is our neutral, hop ready canvas to play around with all things DIPA. The goal for the series is not only to bring you at least one DIPA per month, but also to allow us to push our base DIPA recipe in any number of directions with the goal of ultimately tweaking, refining and improving every DIPA in our lineup.
For June we decided to build a lovely pale malt base to trial a brand new hop (to us) called Pink! It is a hop from Idaho and is rumoured to “taste the way Galaxy used to.” Naturally we were extremely excited about this possibility, as Galaxy circa 2017 and earlier was about as elite a hop as can be.
Hopped with Pink and Citra it is a beautifully soft, citric delight with some underlying bubblegum and passion fruit notes. An exciting first look at this new hop for us.
