The monthly DIPA series is our neutral, hop ready canvas to play around with all things DIPA. The goal for the series is not only to bring you at least one DIPA per month, but also to allow us to push our base DIPA recipe in any number of directions with the goal of ultimately tweaking, refining and improving every DIPA in our lineup.
This months DIPA features a delectable hop blend of Riwaka, Mosaic and Motueka. Huge tropical notes underpinned by citrus and a creamy body.

Sweetness was above average, even taking the hop flavour to a subordinate quality. Drinkable yes, but a little much on the sweetness. Can from the source.

Pours a creamy pale yellow, with a small head that knows its place and soon is memory. The nose is a swirling mix of wood, citrus and hops. Probably perfect. The feel is a bit creamy there is a sharpness in the centre. The wood penetrates everything right down the middle, in a unique way I never felt before. And while it's ever so slightly tart, this beer is great.
(P.S., I am shocked that the New Zealand hops didn't ruin things. Yes it is a bit tart because of them, but still. Well done.)
