An IPA that is a complete joy to drink.

Lush in the construction of its malt body, and expressive in its aromatic delivery. A beer we take great joy in… enjoying. We’ll see ourselves out!

Hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Rakau and Simcoe.

Pours orange with a thick head that lasts. The nose is mostly citrus with a distant hint of wood. The taste is of grapefruit with wooden end notes. I find it a bit too tart for my taste and it's also slightly thin and over-carbonated.

Review from notes. Durand purchase. Served fairly fresh and cold into a pint glass.

Appearance - Super hazy yellowy brew with a couple fingers of white head. Juice like.

Smell - Tropical punch, some orange, passionfruit and a plethora of other bits and pieces of tropical fruit. Grape is the third star.

Taste - Similar to the nose, lots of tropical fruits, but a bit thinner tasting and a little too much hop oil going on. The grape flavor falls a touch flat. Minor nitpicks, but that stops this from being a standout.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, juicy and pretty crushable. Carbonation is medium-light.

Overall - A good IPA, but not near the top from Badlands.
