Dora is our exploratory series of beers where we mess around with anything/everything from ingredients to process.
For this version of Dora, wanted to try to reduce the husk content of our overall grain bill. This years barley is much smaller than last years and as a result there has been more husk as a percentage of the kernel.
In our opinion, reducing this makes softer beer. That’s what we tried to do here by including more dehusked cereal grains(wheat in this case) as a percentage of the grist.
Hopped entirely throughout the process with our hand selected Citra, this version of Dora throws massive, dense yellow haze with notes of OJ papaya and tropical aromatics.
