A nice dark yellow pour welcomes Dora's 68th version. The initial compact head dissipates and the nose, well, it's surprisingly muted. Yes, there is citrus, but it's not easily discernible. The feel is soft.
The taste however is off. I am not even sure what I am tasting, but there are notes of dill, maybe papaya, mold, and cigarette butts. All of this is cradled by some recognizable goodness, but the bad takes away from this, especially at the beginning of each sip.
Disappointing.
I have tasted 127 different brews from Badlands and this is the 4th worse for me. And only Terra Cotta is a less desirable IPA from them.

Its few beers beers where I am substantially rating better than the average rater, maybe one in fourty, and this was one of them. Just a greatly executed drinkable hoppy.
