Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some light lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some really nice bourbon woody notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some really nice bourbon notes with vanilla notes and a sweet finale. Body is full with oily texture and good carbonation with some light discernible alcohol notes. Nice barrel-aged bourbon stout with a nice sweet chocolate malt base.

Another Bourbon Barrel Aged stout (for which there is still no separate category on BA) from the boys at Badlands.
Pours black with zero head. The nose is delicious BBA, with mostly figs shining through. The figs are also in the body, along with bourbon, some chocolate and even coffee. The lack of carbonation is a bit of an issue. The taste is good but the end notes are surprisingly bitter, which is off-putting. Decent, but not Badlands' best BBA.
