473ml can served cool into a chalice. Durand purchase. Canned September 24, 2024.
Appearance - Super hazy yellowy gold with white and orange highlights. Two plus fingers of sticky white head leaving a great ring of webs of lacing.
Smell - Fruity with some pineapple and a touch tart to the nose. A medley of other citrus.
Taste - Fruity again, with some citrus, a touch of grape, pineapple is there but muted.
Mouthfeel - Low carbonation, medium bodied and honestly a bit thin. Doesn't quite have the robust juiciness of some of their other IPA's.
Overall - A good IPA, but not a great one, everything just seems a touch muted compared to some of Badlands high water marks.

Inglewood is one of my favourites from Badlands. Let me rephrase that. The original incarnation was my favourite from them. This was before the New Zealand hops saturated the market during Covid and turned great IPAs into tart IPAs.
But one can hope.
Pours palish yellow with a tall head. The nose is of citrusy hops but I smell the tartness already. And there it is in the taste.
Of course it's drinkable. But it isn't as good as before, because of Motueka. It's like someone poured white wine into good into a solid IPA. It shouldn't be done.
