This is the very first beer we ever brewed as a brewery. It was batch numero uno but it never saw the light of day because almost everything went wrong on that first beer (the final death punch was the glycol loop dying in late June 2017, and fermentation getting wayyyyy too hot).
When it was first brewed it had a working name of “Fog.” We decided it was finally time to bring it back, same recipe, same working name (which has been promoted to its “for eva eva” name) and all.

Hopped with Citra, Azacca and Ekuanot, we taste notes of navel orange, lime, nostalgia, and tropical fruit candy.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with some tropical fruit notes and a semi-dry finale. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with tropical fruit notes and a semi-dry finish. Body is full for style with a creamy feel with good carbonation. Enjoyable NEIPA with big juicy hops and good drinkability.

A 473ml can, canned on 26th December 2024. Poured into a winebar glass.

Appearance: A hazy pale milky yellow colour with a big three finger white head that had good retention, and left nice lacing.

Aroma: Mandarin, melon, lime, with notes of tropical fruit candy.

Taste: Candied citrus zesty sweetness, mandarin, melon, lime.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Overall: Preferred the aroma over the flavour, as the flavour just wasn’t as juicy as the aroma suggested it could have been.
