This is a Bourbon Barrel Aged Wheat Stout from the masters of IPA. But let's face it. They have become pretty good at the BBA stuff as well. Perhaps not top of the line, but very competitive.
The nose is strong bourbon. The feel is super soft, due to the wheat. The carbonation seems right. It taste like there is vanilla in here, which Badlands likes just a tad too much. They are not indicating the vanilla, but it's there.
Somewhat syrupy and definitely too sweet, this is still a nice enough sipper.
