Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some deep bourbon notes with light vanilla notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some deep bourbon notes and vanilla notes with residual sugar notes. Body is full with an oily texture and good carbonation with light discernible alcohol notes. Enjoyable BA stout but maybe a tad too sweet.

Another BBA stout released fro Badlands' eighth anniversary.
Pours black and it seems that this too is missing the carbonation. That's how the Badlands brewers like it, though they are in the minority. But hey. It's their brew.
The nose is of bourbon, obviously, but also vanilla. A bit too sweet.
The body does indeed lack carbonation and the taste is super sweet. I asked to have the vanilla cut back half, but they also love their vanilla. As such, this one gets a lesser mark. Too bad, as less vanilla and proper carbonation would have had them score higher. Still drinkable, but could have been much better.
