I always look forward to Badlands' BBA Stouts, even though they usually have only a bit of carbonation. Apparently that is how the purist have it.
I am however not a purist.
After the wax removal, the pour shows very little carbonation again. The nose is of course bourbon, but also sweet vanilla, which is the weakness of Badlands. They use too much because they love it,
And here it is in the taste. My lips are sticky already.
The feel is really smooth and the low carbonation is not a hindrance. Strong boozy feel (with some accompanying little coughs from the fumes, he, he).
Once again a good one from Badlands, expensive it may be.
