The first of its kind from Badlands (meaning that it has Maple in it, which should be a prerequisite for a Canadian BBA Breakfast Stout), this too pours with no carbonation (bummer).
The nose is heavy bourbon and maple combo, with also vanilla, which I hope is used sparingly.
The feel is very smooth, and though I could use just a tad less sweetness and more carbonation for sure, the taste is lovely. The maple is really coming through properly. I am not really finding the coffee within, but that is just me. Quite the boozy finish.
For a first try, this is brilliant, though stronger carbonation is an absolute must going forward.
However, if you have any type of acid reflux, this is brutal. I had to pour it down the drain after about 175mL drink. :-(
