this one is no longer rightly a double, listed at 7.4% abv on my can, maybe they have scaled it back some over time, drinks insanely easy too, citra, strata, and nectaron, glorious and modern combination, first rate really, this is so tidy and clean and professional, so minimal on the grain side, neutral on the ferment, its all hops and its not overdone, its remarkable for its refinement, and one of my favorites ive ever had from these guys. totally blonde and clear on the pour, really really light, with a ton of bubbles and a stock white cream head with fine retention, nice looking can of beer. the nose is summery and juicy and fruity forward with just a little sativa thing in play too, white peach and lychee, coconut from the strata for sure, a lemongrass note, key lime or lime leaf, so fresh as to be almost perfumed. grain could be nothing more than mellow pils malt, great freshness and water chemistry apparent, could be fermented cooler, this has a lager-like snap about it, does not smell bitter as these go, just balanced. the flavor follows the nose, some tropical fruit with more obvious citrus and peach, mango, pineapple, and white grape and white wine, springy and bright and so magnetic. the body is so light, almost impossibly so for the style, there is just a bit of hop oiliness about it, but still so quick and effortless, great carbonation here, low bitterness, refreshing as can be, the best aspects of all of these hops at perfect volume in here, very professional and trendy type ipa, i wish i had more cans!

Taster flight at Side A. Clear golden pour, small white foamy head. Malty aroma, caramel, light hoppy notes. Taste is toffee, pine, with a mild bitter finish.
