Pours a dark purple with fine pink head.
Smell is tart and fruity with notes of black currants, citrus hops and currant jelly.
Taste is tart and a bit sweet and fruity. Notes of black currants, currant jelly, citrus and shortbread. Very soft bitterness and dry on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, chewy and smooth with good carbonation.
Overall, a very interesting DIPA that works way better than it sounds.
