Copenhagen 7/6 2020. 44 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. Light blue can in Apex's usual design this time with a Boar's head.
Pours hazy, pale yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer og foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass.Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense reminding me of a slightly dodgy orange juice. Light odor of fermented exotic fruit. Peach, pineapple and mango. Strong notes of orange, grape fruit and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively, tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric, bitterness. A bit acerbic and searing. Aftertaste is citric and bitter. Lingering. Finish is dry.
Quite the juicy, dank and bitter NEIPA.

Smell is earthy and grassy with notes of stonefruit and melon.
Taste is fruity and slightly sweet with notes of stonefruit, melon and a very soft bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and well carbonated.
Overall, a nice IPA, but not as good as Apex usually are.
